Our theme for this fast is “Prepare Your Heart!” As the move of God increases in our community, the warfare increases as well. I believe the Lord is calling us to prepare our hearts to seek Him and intercede on a whole new level! Saturday afternoon starting at 1pm, Lefty Ayers will be sharing with us what God is showing him regarding spiritual warfare AND leading us in a time of intercession!
We believe God is calling the Church to fast and pray! God put it on our hearts to fast and pray 3 days once every quarter. During the 3 days, we have places available to gather together to worship and pray corporately. You are free to come and go as schedules permit. Then we break our fast together Sunday evening with communion and a shared meal together.
This is your invitation to join us as the Lord leads! It may be for a day or a meal or a few meals or the whole time; you may be able to join us in person some of the time or not. Pray and ask the Lord if/how He may want you to participate. If you are new to fasting or if this is your first time joining us, we have put together some helpful Fasting Guidelines.
We plan to begin the fast by skipping dinner Thursday, and breaking the fast Sunday evening with communion and a shared meal, but you are welcome to fast as much or little as the Lord leads you. The following places will be open for community prayer worship etc:
